What's New?
This page describes revisions that have been done, and are planned.
This website has been inactive
(with
no revisions or additions) since 2001,
so I strongly recommend that you read
THE
ACTIVE WEBSITE.
Revisions for May 7, 2000:
Finally, An Overview
of Design Method is finished, at least
partially. (the ending of the page shows some "plans for the
future")
For awhile (until May 2001?) there won't be any major changes
or additions, because I'm working on another major website.
Revisions for April 7, 2000:
changes in some pages,
such as An Introduction to Design
where the definition of a "problem" has been revised.
Revisions for March 14, 2000:
There has been a major overhaul, especially in the
"front end"
of the website, in the home page and introductory pages.
Some information about this process can be seen in the colorizing
(to show which pages are old and new and not finished) in the sitemap.
In the near future I'll continue revising old pages and
adding new pages.
A major goal is to provide (for many pages) a multi-level structure by
beginning the page with an introductory summary (of major
ideas in the page) and a Table of Contents (with links).
This structure will take advantage of one of the best features of the web:
the ability to give you a quick overview of a page and then let you
go directly to the part(s) that seem most interesting for you.
Or, if you want, you can read a page in the order it is written,
just as you usually do with a non-web "paper in print."
Later, I'll also make some changes in the "look"
and format,
although I want to keep the main focus on providing useful content.
